They were one of our Special Friends of the month for April and they remain for the month of May. For about two months now, groups of approximately 20-30 student Airmen from Keelser Air Force Base have come out in force to APEA to help us tackle much needed property "beautification" projects, as well as help our at our adoption events at PetSmart. The Airmen have assisted in everything from yard work to fence repair to landscaping and so much more. You young men and women have no idea how much your actions have helped those of us who run APEA to accomplish tasks that have needed to get done for so long now, but we have yet to be able to get to them due to caring for our rescued animals. The work you have done is truly amazing and we are so incredibly lucky to have such professional and upstanding young men and women willing to take time out of your much deserved weekend "off time" to help us out. Thank you so much, ALL OF YOU!!!!!
